Dr. M. Shiraz Ali
Dr. M. Shiraz Ali completed his graduation (M.B.B.S.) from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College & Hospital, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India in 2003 and in 2009, he achieved his post – graduation (M.S. in Ophthalmology) degree from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (R.I.M.S.), Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He completed his long – term fellowship in glaucoma at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2012; following which he worked in the capacity of “Medical Consultant” in the department of Cataract & Glaucoma Services at Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry, India. He then completed his “Senior Residency “in the Department of Ophthalmology at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (R.I.M.S.), Ranchi, Jharkhand, India in 2015. He is also very active academically; regularly attending and participating in conferences, CMEs & workshops. He has presented papers and chaired sessions at state, regional and national levels. He has numerous publications in indexed peer – reviewed journals. Currently, Dr. M. Shiraz Ali heads the Department of Glaucoma at iRIS Superspeciality Eye Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He is well – acquainted in managing almost all types of glaucoma cases. In addition, he has special interest in managing patients with “Dry Eye”.
